I've got some crappy Zyxel yoke supplied by Vodafone but I've been considering swapping back to the Netopia router. What did you do to sort your problems?

The netopia had a firewall setting that had to be set to 'low' and uPnP had to be enabled. I had the BFBC2 ports set up in NATs too beforehand, but I'm not sure I actually need to.

Never had problems with anything else, 's just the battlefield games seem to be picky.

DICE need to get their **** together game was good but now the crap is showing through. Too many shots to kill someone. sniper bullet in the back of the head doesnt take someone down. a tank bullet doesnt kill anyone in 1 hit from point blank. you get killed in 1 hit because everyone has magnum rounds. Just sort the **** out dice its a disadvantage and is not balanced.

Was playing on a server earlier with this on and it banned 16 people in the space of 2 hours through either AIMBOT or GAMEHACK reasons lol. Quite disturbing really the amount of people actually willing to cheat on some servers :S

Yup =TFU= servers are now extremely safe to play on!

I must say tho ALL the credit has to to go to CDGreen he's really worked hard to get punkbuster up and running!

I dont have Magnum rounds .. I still kill people .. I use one of the lower powered sniper rifles and its 2 shots normal and 1 shot HC .

I just unlocked the M60 . Its like shooting fish in a barrel . If you stoped crying on here and played abit more you would

bit harsh but I see your point. I don't think it's THAT hard to kill someone on softcore. You can't just shooot someones legs and expect them to die, you need to make yourself aim high.

Yeah, i wasn't having a good time when i began to play BC2 tonight. Went on FT's server and sucked, went to your server and sucked, then i went back to FT's server and did a lot better and then i ended up with Rjkoneill and played with a mostly OcUK only server and got a few new weapons and items.

I'll be on the nM server tomorrow night.

I often find if that keeps happening to me its time to try a different kit and approach to the match. Earlier I had 0 kills 7 deaths as assault and engineer so then I went recon and moved up with my squad, ended up getting 34 kills 11 deaths by the end of it and a silly amount of points lol. Sure it doesnt help when you still need some of the other unlocks but if it means helping to win the match then its a no brainer really.

I was switching classes, i just wasn't on the ball when i first started up the game tonight. Took me two crappy sessions to get into gear and enjoy the game.

On OcUK I think there was 3 or 4 people (That I saw) with exactly the same build as each other. I was like WHAT

any bolt action sniper will kill in 1 headshot.

the semis will too but only at close ranges.

I have killed many with one shot from a distance with the sniper rifle and I'm a noob at sniping, now only just getting used to it so it isn't that hard

What do you expect? If people decide to do crap like that, you gotta get them back right? All they did was run up to the roof, parachute down, bang bang bang, up to roof, jump down again. If tubing them stops them doing that stupid **** then so be it.
