Bit of a raging debate going on in the angling world as to the authenticity of this fish. Many believe that the fish has been manipulated digitally.
Looks like flash bounce to me but I have an open mind.
Could someone skilled in photoshop take a gander and make a comment please ?

Seem's to be a slight blur at the tip of the fish's bottom part of it's mouth as well.

aside from it just not looking like the fish should be that big the only thing I can really see is his left hand looks to be at an angle which would be really uncomfortable holding something that heavy

Im no expert but looks fake to me to as the fish looks way over exposed compared to the man in scene.

but the killer for me is the shadowing under the mouth looks wrong they have added it to make it look real but the shadow does not look like it projects onto the wall correctly under the mouth.

Largest northern pike on record is 77lb, and in the UK the record is 46lb. I would have said that fish was within those limits.

Looks legit, the flash/light source looks like it's been at roughly the height of the chaps chin from the shadows and they all match. The only thing I can see is the fin on the left near the fish head has a slightly odd shadow but anything could cause that. I wouldn't be worried about the slight blur near the fish mouth as it could just have been moving or slipping in his hands.

I don't really see any problems with his hands, his elbows are resting on the top of his legs. Over exposure of the fish is just down to the scales and how close the flash/light is to it, probably a fairly cheap camera too.

tres now thats fake theres no way them hearts etc could be floating around like that but then he does loveeeee that fish.

as said he is looking at it a little worrying hehe.

Its a fish. It's wet, slimy and shiny. Its reflecting the flash. The man is not shiny. He lghts up subtly.

And the fish is much closer to the flash. With a single flash, and particularly if it's a cheap one, that's the effect you will see. Even if it's a good flash, it'll still have that effect.
