Have they changed the taste of Sailor Jerry's?

Yep they have changed the flavour and packaging. I am sure it was the same across the UK, but in sailor jerry started being heavily promoted about 8 months ago in Edinburgh. Lot's of pubs were pushing it and it was nice and cheap.

Just as it started to take off they changed the label and flavour. Haven't heard a single good word from anyone about the change.

Not pleased about this, had some on the weekend and it tasted rubbish but just though they must have watered down the coke it was mixed with.

And just as they'd started to stock it in Tesco's!

The bottle has changed in Sainsburys. I wasn't sure if it was the same stuff so I bought one of the old style bottles. So that means I've got to savour the 1/3 bottle I've got left because that's it? :(

Why do companies change their recipes randomly like that? It seems obvious that they didn't do much research on it initially, as everyone seems to hate it.

I'll stick to the aftershocks, samuel buca and tech eula!! Thank you! :D

I prefer my insides to stay inside, especially in a pub lol.

dont think ive ever remembered getting home on nights where ive drank wray and nephews :o

was a mates turn to get a round in one night and he came back with a beer for himself and a wray and nephew for everyone else told everyone it was great and the only reason he hadn't had one was cos he was allergic to rum. We all downed it and all but one of us ended up throwing up.

haven't had sailor jerry's in a while bit disappointed to hear it's changed though :(

Worse than wray and nephews, I went to ireland with a couple of mates not so long ago.
We had a few cans and went down to the first pub we could find, "3 shots of the strongest spirit you have, 3 pints of guiness" as you do...
The guy picks up this dusty bottle, brushes it off, pours the shots, I give it a sniff, my eyes water. Take the shot and just about managed to hold it down with half a pint of guiness, it half came up but i forced it down, the two mates ran straight outside and chucked it up. Turns out it was poteen, 90%, it makes wray and nephews seem like water. That was nuts, i've yet to find a bar that sells it over here and rightly so, evil stuff.

I've been drinking Captain Morgen, with a bit of lime squeezed in and an extra bit of lime in the drink
