Gabe Confirms Episode 3 Cancelled

They kinda screwed up on the whole episodic content is the way to go business.

Each time they release a new episode I have to replay the previous game to catch up it's been that long! :(

End of Ep2 was *tough* as ****! Took me a few goes :D

Can't wait for 3, hurry up Valve!!
 
Well no, it's not terrible. Episode 2 is especially good and it would nice to play again. Point is the next Episode should be out before I have almost forgotten everything that has happened so far! Otherwise what's the point of "episodic content"? They may as well have just created two full-sized sequels or expansions given the amount of time they have been farting about.

The original HL2 was released in 2004. It took 2 years for Episode 1. It has been something like 3 years since Episode 2...

But look what happens when they churn games out quickly. I hardly play L4D2, why? Because although its far better than the first one, I realise l'd had my fill of killing AI zombies. Maybe if they had worked on it for another year, things may have been different.

I don't mind waiting for the next HL instalment.
