I wouldn't be surprised tbh...Bet you HL2 ep3 ends up being a fully fledged sequel to HL2 anyway!

I got bored of HL2's "Episodic content" a while ago. They had the engine, story, textures, enemies, scenery and actors to put together 2 episodes in relatively quick time, (in game making terms) and release them. Instead, Valve took 3.5 years to release 2 add-ons to an existing game???
Superbly well polished add-ons I admit, though I didnt enjoy them as much as the original. But how on earth can it take them SOOOOO long to make a few hours of gameplay in a world that they've already created!
Whole games have come and gone, TV series have ran and expired in the time it takes Valve to chuck out a single add-on to their most popular and successful franchise! Take the man who is responsible for this lousy timescale out back, and swiftly administer a gunshot to the head.
Um...are you forgetting the not-so-insignificant matters of TF2, L4D, L4D2 and Portal? Oh, and basically transforming Steam into one of PC gaming's bulwarks?
Speaking of Episode 3 what is happening with it? Haven' heard any news for ages.

Haha, excellent trolling, you *******. (I nearly died.)
But look what happens when they churn games out quickly. I hardly play L4D2, why? Because although its far better than the first one, I realise l'd had my fill of killing AI zombies. Maybe if they had worked on it for another year, things may have been different.
I don't mind waiting for the next HL instalment.
