UT/FT is it possible to have the normal ocuk server still be normal but no kill cam :p


I like normal more than hardcore but the kill cam ****es me off :(

tbh i find it easy to tell where the sniper who killed me was the big line when they shoot is also a big give-away :p

It's when you've ninjad into their base/mcom and had to kill a person or two to get there and when they re spawn they just come straight to you can kill you before squadmates can spawn/finish arming/planting explosives:(

So if you agree why put some ****y thing at the bottom. Obviously you feel someone doesnt die from a bullet. I must meet this superhuman.
 
Sorry for accidently fence exploiting my own team last night guys. Still not entirely sure how I managed to hit it. :(

Stupid bug needs fixed though.

Is there any way you can hotkey toggle vertical look for flying mode, so I can pilot the UAV without having to think in reverse?

Also apologies in advance for later on as I see they're going to nerf the M60 and I figure I may as well get my platinum star in for it tonight :D

They need to have friendly fire on in non-hardcore mode, things such as the uav bomb and mortaring crates constantly so the enemy cant plant or defuse ruin the game.

Not to mention being able to nade a group of friendlies to kill an enemy without fear of consequences.

I don't agree though :/


You said tank shels in game don't kill when you hit someone.

they do even when you only get it fairly close.

You said sniper rifles don't kill in 1 hs in game.

They do.


You say it takes a whole clip to kill someone yet they kill you i n2-3 shots.


They kill you because they hit you. you spray a clip and you miss with half your bullets.




And in nearly all (set in modern times) MP FPS take 2-3 bullets to the chest to kill someone.

Body armour has to be taken in to account that and a game where 1 bullet to the body kills you would be dull when it's full of people spraying full auto weapons over huge areas.

Do you think in war people try to capture little stations?



Maybe you'd prefer red orchestra?
 
Does anyone on here actually play or like softcore or have you all just dismissed it straight off the bat? Im suprised hardcore is so popular tbh. Not my cup of tea at all ;)

Wouldnt mind a couple of softcore players on here to have blast with. Add me ingame if you fancy it, -----> Quagsville.

If you go by the poll most people here play normal, I just think the people who are more frequently posting in the thread happen to be renting servers or playing with those renting the servers that are HC.

That poll is from the before the game came out, a fresh one would be a completely different story as most of the people on here had all planned to play softcore untill they tried HC.

The poll had near enough the same ratios as it does now but had 1/5 - 1/4 the amount of votes by the time the game came out, the vast majority of those votes have come since release. Not that I'm saying it is an accurate reflection, as I said originally "if you go by"... polls on forums are usually pretty meaningless.

Well obviously you play hardcore. You would expect in normal mode a headshot 1 hit regardless and my tank shots are close and on target as the cursor flashes. I may have to take up hardcore as normal is just silly amounts of hits. I dont have a lot stuff like magnum rounds and extra body armour all these people seem to have unlocked either. And i dont pray all my hits register normal is bug dont sit their telling you think my aim is **** when quite plainly normal is too many shots to kill when tons of people are complaining. If your aiming and firing from the hip that is not spraying not if your aiming

Nope i play normal.

1 head shot does kill.

You can't have magnum and body armour either.

I still killed people fine with no magnums as do most people.

with me i play any game Mode :cool: but its just having the time to play still weekend coming woohoo:)

Normal takes roughly 2-4 hits with most weapons if you hit them in the head, except obviously the highest damage rifles/shotguns which are a one shot. Have you unlocked magnum ammo yet? Normal becomes much better to play after you do.

Roughly twice as many people prefer normal to hardcore :p
