I'm looking for a list of AM3 CPU coolers that can be rotated 90 degrees, and therefore allow me to choose their orientation. I am ultimately looking for a cooler that takes air from above the RAM, and directs it towards the I/O panel.
I know that the Zalman CNPS10X Peforma and Flex come with a replacement bracket for the back of the board and will allow this, but not sure if there any other manufacturers that use similar designs. Looking at the more expensive Quiet and Extreme, they seem to not allow this (having seen the bundled AMD fixing accessories).
I have a Silverstone RV02 which takes cold air from the bottom of the case and vents it through the top, hence why I want to be able to maintain this upward airflow. I fancied the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev2 but this would have the airflow cutting across the case and is not what I want.
I'd really appreciate some help with this as it's the final component needed for my shopping list, and then I can commence ordering!
