Spec me a Gaming Mouse

Well after about 30 minutes use of the MX518 I must say I am impressed - it glides over the surface perfectly. The DPI increase as well is a bit strange to get used to but I'm getting there!

I must say I was suprised by the Roccat Taito mouse mat. It's huge! For £8 ish it's possibly the best mouse mat I've ever used and would definately recommend that!

So, to cut it short, the MX518 is superb and I'd recommend it to anyone.

another vote for mx518. Had razer, microsoft etc etc and this is by far the best mouse. And can be had for around £18.

MX518 gets the vote for me - most robust mouse I've had ( I've had quite a few Razor mice over the years and not one came close)

Razer Copperhead is good! Best gaming mouse I ever owned - and this is coming from soneone who also used the diamondback before it as well!

I've also recently tried other gaming mice - the Ikari, Deathadder, Intellimouse, MX518 and Kinzu and I went back to the Copperhead because I just couldn't find them as comfortable or as accurate as the Copperhead.

The problem with Razer mice (especially the smaller ones) because they have odd shapes when you have used one for a while and want to change to a different mouse it's very hard to find something that feels comfortable again. I gave up searching for the right mouse after using the Diamondback and Copperhead but I reckon if I tried again the CM Sentinel Advance would be the first I would try next time round. :)

Using the Logitech G500 here and can't fault it. Prefer it to my old G5 mouse as well, it has a better scroll wheel button and having 3 thumb buttons is great (though I only use two of them, the G5 only had one). The general feel of the mouse is similar to that of the G5 but it's a slightly nicer shape imo.

I used the original Diamondback for around 5 years and never had a problem with it.

Then I got the Guild Wars edition Deathadder to go with my orange Acer G24 and Saitek Cyborg keyboard, and it is even smoother, precise and perfect.

I have both of them plugged in now because my Pinky fingers are cying over their Hanon training, so I need to rotate mouse hands.

Good choice. I'm glad you've found it as nice to use as the rest of us :)

Another vote for the MX518 here, I've been using it since my MX510 died after ~5 years of use.

Great mouse, I miss the buttons whenever I use another mouse

I use the Roccat Kone on a Roccat Taito Gaming Mouse Pad, pretty pleased with purchase :)

hope it dont break as they are like time bombs and wouldnt touch roccat mice with a golden dick :D look at all the threads some people have had like 5 replacements . they just drop to bits litterally . my mate had four in less than three months :( :p

used to love the razer variety had diamond backs and copperhead but perfer the mx 518 pure greatness have two :D

I recently got the new Razer Impererator (sp?)

and its actually pretty sweet!

Had a Lachasis (sp?) before but the middle mouse button stopped working.
