I always used to use the arrow keys for movement, but eventually gave in due to buggy games (And lack of avai;able keys). The best soloution I found was to use a keypad like a belkin nostromo n52, Logitech G13, or similar. I still won't use WASD on a standard keyboard.

U using and internet based programs, ie Spybot , antimalware , ?

I turned my spybot off now I never get disconnects in the game ie log back in.

DanMC07 u have W and S set as ascend and descend but UAV needs these for forwards and backwards by default, suggest u try removing or changing them.

Nope, this is default.

W&S are ascend/descend for helicopters, but forward/backward for UAVs. R&F are ascend/descendd for UAV. He has these keys at default settings.

FT! Please keep the 32man server! It's damn near full all the time in peak hours! 32 is where it is at tbh, any less and it gets boring wondering around with no action!

For the record I'm also against splitting the server, I like occasional Squad DM but I think the majority of the playerbase like the Rush/Conq mix with the occasional wee bash on SquadDM.

Had a chat with FT about pruning some of the maps on the OcUK server, so what we want to do is ask obviously the players of the server which ones they want to play on, because all the maps in 1 rotation seems a bit much.

I'll keep this post updated with the numbers for each map, FT will be sorting it out at the weekend amongst some other things.

Just vote for 3 or 4 of the conquest and rush maps you want to play

When you say you've turned them off, what do you mean, uninstalled?

I like the long rotation, as I like all the maps. Plus having it on Rush all the maps then going to Conquest all the maps and then repeat makes sense because some people only like Conquest and some only like Rush. Therefore the ones that join for Conquest may get annoyed when it switches to Rush quickly.

2 - Rush (I'm on defenders)
3 - Conquest
4 - Goto 1

I personally find Conquest quite boring after a while, but it's good to knock it up a notch with a little variety

Yeah for sure, Rush is the better mode imo. Conquest is good to have a little break, but 6 rounds in a row of conquest is like "Urgh "

Ive been going for the bronze star in every weapon insignia, has anyone done this yet?

Ive got them in all weapons bar the garrand which isnt registering my kills?

Also do you just need it for the main weapons or all the rocket launchers as well?

It's confusing, even the tracer has a spot for a star within the game, but how do you get kills with that, by tagging then blowing up vehicles?

I dunno. I think you'd get people leaving a lot more frequently and having to fill up with new players if it changed between Rush and Conquest every round.

I do think Conquest maps should only run once each though. They do get a bit annoying when you have to play the same map again only starting at the other side, which lets face it makes very little difference.

True! I like all maps available on all modes. I would prefer Rush attack/defend and then a conq then back to a rush.

I would not be in favour of removing any maps, especially this early since release! I hate playing on a server and then 2hrs i'm back to the map i started with having skipped one i've been looking forward to but didnt know was not on the maplist. Dont want to end up in a 24/7 karkand/wake island scenario again

Interesting points so far.

I've found that most people don't mind too much re things changing between rush and conquest quite frequently. I personally really like to have a quite frequent change of pace so this really appeals...
