Hey people,

I've just checked my 12v rail using the Gigabyte Easy Tune 6 hardware monitor, and when I run Furmark the 12v rail drops to 11.8v, is this acceptable?

Thanks,
Jonny

I think thats within tolerance, but you may want to look at a bigger PSU in the future... Especially if you want to overclock or add a bigger VGA card or more drives.

I'd think it's acceptable, my psu is pretty much always at 12.2 and drops to 12.1 or 12.0 under full ( cpu& gpu) load. I wouldn't worry up to 0.3 v v****tion from 12v.

That isnt a problem. Do not worry at all! The voltage will always drop slightly under load.

And why recommend a new PSU, you have no idea which one is in there . . . .

Its well within the toleranced limits, and software readings are inaccurate anyway! (As already pointed out)
