My brother orderd the Asus ATI Radeon HD 5870. does it come with that carbon effect like i've seen on the net ?

Yes it does, as I was pleased that it matched my ASUS 5970, not that you will see it anyway when it's in the case as it's facing down.

You got any links to overclocking the card. i've overclocked nvidia cards before, but never messed with this asus tweak thing.
Do you use msi afterburner ? what clock speed did you get ?
He was after the 5850, after hearing good things about it, but they we're out of stock. so he paid extra £90 for the 5870 over the 5850.
and wants another if it's good. anyways. i take it this has already got the bios flashed. and you just up the volts to gain better clocks..
