right. i know this is not really a good idea for the general household, but...
i just had the most amazing idea.
what if, when you were doing the electric in a new house, you set up the light switches to work with random lights, and the people in the house had to turn on the light outside a door before they opened it. the door handles would all be connected up to the mains, via a transformer that lowered the voltage to something non lethal. when the light outside a door was turned on, the handle would be disconnected for 30 seconds.
the light switches would have to be connected to a circuit that would randomize which light they effected, and each time a light was turned on or off the connections would be re randomized
thus living would be a great game of fun and intrigue.
what do yo think, how would you go about it, and have you any better ideas for removing the monotony from life?
