Was wondering what you guys were paying for the Inspection II cost?

I've also had some steering wheel shuddering recently, could be the bushings but I'm only up to 27k on the clock.

Was being quoted around the 900 mark, by the only BMW approved dealer on the island, be cheap to take a ferry across to the main land and get it serviced by the looks of it.

most are negotiable on price but if they have no competition they may not be so keen

Was £810 for Inspection II and £110 for the changing break fluid. Got them to do a 10% discount on it though.

Is it worth going to France for servicing, or does the current exchange rate make it even more expensive?

Is there any benefit at all to an M3 over a 330Ci on Jersey that means you can justify the much higher costs of servicing etc? Or do you spend a lot of time on the mainland?

Not spent a lot of time on the mainland but the intention is to do track days and do some driving around europe... Austria/Northern Italy.

With regards to the cost, no there isn't much justification... split with g/f and wanting a decent fast car for a while comes to mind... just a treat for a year or so I'm willing to take the hit on.

Not sure I would be prepared to put up with the costs of an M3 living there. It must be like keeping a tiger in a cage. I think I'd have had a 330Ci auto and wafted about.

Im sure it would be great until he takes it on the planned track days and road trips around Europe....
