Next week am off for the week and never been to the south for some fishing.

I want to go fly fishing for salmon but not sure about license etc.

Am ok for the UK so can someone fill me in.

Am not sure if I need a rod license plus a day ticket for the river.

Cheers

Read title as "Fisting in the south or Ireland"

LOL !!!!!!!!!

A UK fishing licence won't cover you mate but you can usually buy a temporary license to cover you for a day or two. Remember the South of Ireland is not part of the UK. A UK permit would not even allow you to fish in the North of Ireland, despite the fact we are part of the UK. This is because local Councils want every penny they can get from you :(
