Listen to this....

Depends what game, got playlists set up for different games.

MW2 - MSI playlist BC2 -no music. BF2 - mixture of itunes. Racing games - well anything, sometimes a good bit of radio 2
 
While playing an online game, no (non-game) music, it seriously distracts me.

Half the time in RTS I've totally ruined my mates base before he even notices because he can't hear OUR BASE IS UNDER ATTACK

When playing WoW however I tend to listen to Electro/Techno albums, Pantha Du prince, The Field, Gregor Tresher, Midnight Juggernauts, Röyksopp and Trentemøller to name a few, just stuff that can be listened to in the background and not distracting.

On a different subject - I got this 9500GT to run FS2004 and GTAIII but can you recommend any racing games that would run on this Dinosaur? I intend to bang in an ATI card soon (Nvidia has gone to the wall) but what racing games could I play on this yoke?
 
OP, that is utter, utter crap. The second link for Feathers isn't so bad though; quite enjoyed that.

Back when I was a pr0 at CS et al. I used to find rock tunes the best to crank up my K-D ratio. Obviously, you crank the in-game volume down so it's just background noise. It was quite fun pwning and dancing at the same time. Each to their own though. It's whatever gets you going really. :p

It's always fun playing as the Axis in DoD/DoD:S with Rammstein playing. :D

That one starts off better but get a bit pap at the end. Ive always prefered the trance dance stuff - not even sure if they call it that anymore.

Sorry for being harsh earlier, i must learn im not a keyboard warror.
