Van Damme would have been epic in this too. :(

Is it just me that thinks the first half of the trailer reminds you of team america, or other really bad spoofs? :p

Is this the first film Stallone and Arnie are in together? can't think of any others? In which case what would have been even more epic is one on each side, with the end scene flipping between Arnie/Stallone and Van Damme/Jet Li (or even better Norris or Segal instead of Li) fights. But who would win?:p:D
 
These sorts of films are really well made in a technical sense and professionally put together but I don't understand the excitement. Stallone's recent work in Rambo 4 and Rocky 6 do not entice me to watch them and the whole pseudo 80's action hero thing is kinda meh.

Plus, The A Team is coming out as is The Losers which are both basically the same films.

Nah Van Dammes part was offered to Lundgren cause Van Damme didn't want to do it. He didn't want his career going down "that route"...whatever that's supposed to mean...

Kurt Russell was also asked but apparently "didn't want to do ensemble acting at this moment in time".



I love how loads of people keep saying "Chuck Norris should be in it". The guys 70, he'd be utterly, utterly useless.

Still cant get over how many old school action actors are in this film, even after seeing them all in the newest HD trailer. Defo going to be worth a watch, really looking forward to it.

This has to be the biggest line up in a film ever ?
 
Just imagine if Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal and Wesley Snipes were in it as well, as they were originally tipped to be. :D

It's probably a good thing, because I doubt anybody would be able to sit through the whole film without spontaneously combusting, due to being overfilled with awesome.
