Metro 2033 Constant Crashes - physxcore.dll

Just did 'The Bridge' level and i've come out into the sewers where there's loads of dead bodies and i'm getting constant crashes with the physxcore.dll error.

I've Googled this problem already and it seems random, even to me. Sometimes it'll work for 5 minutes and if I don't search the bodies, other times it'll crash almost immediately.

I've tried the following:

Update the PhysX in the game installation folder then restart.
Install everything in the game 'install' folder.
Try different NVidia drivers.
Re-installing the game.

At my wits end here and i'm running out of things to try I think. It's been running fine so far on my BFG 295 @ 1680 x 1050 until now.

Weird thing is, it seems to happen when I search dead bodies for items/ammo.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried formatting your PS3?

If it would have come out on the PS3 i'd have happily got it, unfortunately it didn't so i'm stuck playing it on the PC. Unfortunately this is a Eastern European game, and it pretty much runs like one too!

Anyways, you've had your fun, bugger off both of ya's!

Actually I had problems with MAss Effect 2 the other day, it kept conking out randomly. Sod knows how I fixed it (maybe my random swearing and cursing fixed it along with the new drivers, updates, and god knows what else...)

I love PC gaming though!

(and yes, console too!)

You do realize you've posted in the console section don't you?

Try the PC section, you'll get more help and less heckling.
