Just had a truly pathetic game on TFU server. Cant be doing it when there are 7+ snipers when they're meant to be attacking, they couldn't even be frigged in covering the bomb when i set it.

I found (I have the steam version) that going into the steam BFBC2 folders and making the main BFBC2 exe run as admin fixed this. Unfortunately for whatever reason it also stopped the side buttons on my mouse working properly with the game ¬_¬
Not quite sure why, but bit of a PITA.

DICE needs to fix the issue so the programme doesnt need to be made admin, it should not have been designed as such in a world where Vista/7 do not allow automatic admin level access.
 
I can't see pings in browser even after setting it to run as admin. I have all 3 exe files set for it and still can't see. A few servers show ping, but most just show "-". Hope they sort it in a patch.

Was playing on the ocuk server earlier, was fun, collected many,many dogtags :D. (play as pickelator on it)
 
Is it worth doing engineer ? I have put about 4 hours so far in with it but still have cruddy guns and features.
edit: yea given up seems medic and recon only two worth bothering with assault and engy have crud guns, did about 20 rounds scoring pretty well with engy and all I have is still 3 useless main guns repair tool and mines and an armour unlock too slow for me going back to recon.

I've done the same and just end up getting nailed every two minutes by everyone with a bigger gun. Assault is ok if you can get a decent medic to help you along the way.
 
Engineer is easy to play, as for having crap guns, they get the rpg, great for taking out that person camped on the heavy mgs or ppl camping behind buildings/walls.
 
I don't care about K/D ratio atm, i'm just concerned about points and levelling up. Once i can't level up anymore, i'll begin to give a damn about K/D ratio, but i'm levelling up each class atm. They're currently level with what i have unlocked, currently unlocking the Red Dot Sight for Engineer to give you an idea at where i'm at.

Aye, gets easier once you have a few of the unlocks.

If you're Engineer you can still pick up an Assault kit on the floor and it'll give you Engineer points towards the unlocks. The best way to get Engineer points is just sit behind a vehicle in Arica Harbor and repair like a mad man.
