Hey guys im looking at water cooling my pc, however i dont have loads to spend around 100ish so im not sure if i can afford it, also im at uni so the pc is in transit every few months. It would only be a single loop for my i7 920 D0 and was wondering what kind of overclock i can expect to achieve to decide if its worth the expense.

Just wanted opinions on parts and if its worth doing.

Thanks !

You could just about do a new build with a thin rad, and res/pump, combo, cpu block for around £100.

But for me the key is its gonna be in transit every few months, so i would suggest the corsair H50 as its a all in one sealed unit.

are those all in ones not great? i has a cosmos case so its enough space to run it all internally i think

The old all in one units used to be **** poor, but the corsair is basicly the same performance as top air cooling.

The kinda kit you could get for £100ish would give u the same performance, or slightly higher but not by a great deal.

So to me risking a leak in transit, for the sake of say 1/2 degree's is'nt worth it when the H50 is sealed so should'nt leak.

I will later if i remember, as its a busy day for me, post a £100ish spec together for u so u can compare.
