Given that the article states:

"Police had not been notified in advance of the numbers expected to attend. The organisers were spoken to by police."

that comment seems a bit uncalled for.

I'm sure there was a similar thread on here a while back which had a video of people 'storming' a clothes store. Didn't look violent but could have easily turned nasty with all the shoving/pushing, especially if someone was to get stuck underneath.
 
Violence at Brick Lane? Wow, it's just like the old days in the east end :D
 
Looks to me from that video that a few stupid individuals just turned up and wanted to cause a problem. Less about numbers or the fact there was a sale on. It's just unfortunate some people in the world were born without the inability to control themselves in a crowd
 
I have to admit the chav's dodge/escape onto the top of the car was certainly impressive :p


Idiot stood around showing off though if he'd just kept going over he'd have made it into the crowd on the otherside and been away.
