yes its onnoying when that happens, but i really like the idea that you can 'blow stuff up' like that in this game which makes it AWSOME!!!

Well im on 1st Private now, just getting the jist of the game, your best option in field if someone on your team dies, just take there kit, refib them. I tried rush this morning iv'e noticed that you can't just rush into point A or B, it's al about tactics working together like a team, i had about 10 deaths from running into a point and either getting a tank shell up my a-rse or getting knifed, it's about using flanks to divert the fire. the only problem i have at the moment is it randomly crashing, the game just freezes and have to do Cntrl-Alt-Del.

Thats what ****ed me off the most. People were walking around with 2000 points and I could barely manage 100. Once I'd got the medkit and paddles I was laughing and can manage a decent score.

By the time we've finished on my reg's server 3/4s of the map is missing and you've got barely anywhere for cover. It's great if you are in a tank, not so great if you ain't.

I have been a medic form the start, uber points, easy to play but for me sucky k/d ratio.

Tried out assualt last couple of days as I was sick of being noob tubed, lmao wtf are the anti medics complaining about, two assualters dropping ammo next to each other can rack of loads of kills and supply points by constantly noob tubing busy areas

Was playing on the Multiplay servers last night, and there was some 'dodgy' kills going on there. Anyway at one point I rushed out of this half bombed house and came face to face with the ENEMY.

I hit fire (assault class) and up popped an ammo box! In the panic I had accidently hit the scrollwheel so I hit fire again to drop the pack expecting to be mercilessly killed by the said nasty as this happened. Instead the pleb walks over and stands on it - by this time I obviously have my handgun out so I shot him to bits.

He must have been a newbie, and like me a few weeks back I had trouble making out my teammates from the baddies too.

I think I've managed to do the same thing about 4 times, although I still manage to miss the pistol and get the paddles (as medic)

It's quite funny, since starting this thread last week, my game has actually got better, not sure what happened. Maybe it's one of those "first step, admit you have a problem" things

tbh the only real big things are the Body Armour and Magnum Ammo upgrades, Snipers pretty much start with the best sniper, Medics get the M60 reeeeally fast and engis...why are u using ur smg...

the only class that really needs to lvl up is the assaulter.

I am a noob at this game, but I love it. I have the occasional moments where I totally kick ass (like the time I took out an entire squad in under 4 seconds, or knifed 7 people in a row in the space of 30 seconds), but generally, I suck. I do however, appreciate it when someone does something as stupid as me. Last night I ran up to a tank to C4 it, out popped the gunner to take me out, but instead of shooting, he threw an ammo box at me. While I swapped to shotgun, he just stood here looking at his ammo box as if it had grown legs while I put a couple rounds in his chest, then blew his mate up in the tank. I was chuckling for ages at the WTF look I just know was on his face IRL.

Magnum unlock, sure.. but the body armour is pants. It'll protect you from one extra bullet, at most. It's a 1.25 modifier, meaning naff all.. You're better off taking the lightweight pack, so you can dodge* bullets.

*No Niir - I'm saying, when you're ready, you won't need to!

Got about 5000 points during a rush game. And then got about 13,000 in awards. Was pretty pleased with myself. If I've got a decent squad with me, I'm probably a 8 or a 9 - won one round with a thousond more points than the next highest player, however, most of the time I'm a 7-8.

A good way to play is to find out where all the actions happening and sneak around the outside, hardly anyone bothers looking around there, its a great way to pick a good few of them off.

I played the multiplayer for the first time this morning and OMG I was truly awful! Are there any servers for less experienced players? Every time I saw someone I was dead before I managed to hit them! Tried playing as Recon and couldn't hit anything, so stuck with assault in the end.

Should I be looking for specific servers, I just joined some random one, think it was German.

Hopefully I'll get better with some more practice!

Did you go straight into hardcore...it can be a little daunting without crosshairs the first time, took me a while to get used to iron sight firing after the console like MW2 spray and pray method.

Only good things about hardcore opposed to regular for me is less shots to kill, no minimap and no killcam...that said, i've played HC so much I get completely owned on regular.
