iMac Strange Questions....

I am really wanting a iMac but the mrs said there no room in this house to have it. We live a 2 bedroom house and the 2nd bedroom is soon to be taken over by our new born. Help me guys on advice what i could have it on that does not take up room or spoil the look of a room too
 
No problem just hope someone can pop along and help me talk the mrs into it :) just need a nice slim desk big enough to put the iMac on with it keyboard and mouse that will look nice in the living room I guess

Available in a few colours if you have a look. Fits the 21.5" imac perfectly.

PS - Sorry if linking to this is not allowed, im sure the rules have been relaxed but just incase :)

Edit - Dont forget its wall mountable so you could in theory get away with a sturdy shelf for just the keyboard

Faster for photography? How vague!

Sounds like you need to talk to the other half, if she's not keen then blowing money on a computer might not be the best idea. "lack of space" isn't really a solid reason, chances are she's wanting money kept for the time being. Oddly I'm in the opposite situation to you, wife wants to spend money and I'm wanting to keep it for when our baby comes (september-ish).

MBP isn't the best for photography, might be fast but it's still laptop screen. You can hook it up to a monitor but you'd then be better off with an iMac as it'd be less messy and take up less room.

Put simply if you can't win her around, I wouldn't bother risking the wrath especially with a baby on the way, hormones will only get worse!
 
I have decided in the mean time to stick with my MBP I currently have and see how things go I can always put the money to one side and take things from there :) But I still fancy a iMac really do :)
