Just swapped out a cheap psu for a Corsair 400W cos it was really noisy before. Much quiter now but still pretty audible. Thought it'd be the cpu fan (e2180 stock cooler) but realised its the graphics card fan. It doesnt just whir it rattles slighty too. Its an overclockers radeon x1950pro.

What's the best thing to do. Oil it, or swap the fan, and for what?

Thanks

Ok thanks. Not sure if it'll fit though I have a very small case. Is full ATX but I could only just get the motherboard into it. Any other options? Doesnt have to be the business in terms of performance. Im not a heavy user. Just needs to be quiet. No passive solution I guess

OK, thanks. How can I stop the fan without taking card out (Pain in arse on my computer) just so I can make sure its that making the noise. Can I pull the power to the fan for a few seconds or will it fry it?

Should be OK. Load up GPU-Z or Rivatuner and keep an eye on the temps, while you do it.
