Any one know if this board will fit in the Antec 1200?
The R3E is only 1 inch wider than a normal atx board so check your case to see if it can accommodate that.

Yes, it's 305mm x 269mm compared to 305mm x 244mm (standard ATX). 25mm = ~1 inch.Just one inch right?
Would be such a shame if i bought it and it couldnt fit in :>
Open your case and check with a measuring tape, simple.
Mine has a 275mm width for the motherboard.
I tried a google image search for that case, and cant find a single high res birds eye picture of its interior.
Everywhere only has angled shots of the case, so I cant even see where the stanoff screw are.
Yeah, you're right. The Cosmos S even supports E-ATX (305mm x 330mm) so you'll have loads of room. They seem to have much more space than my case does, so you should be fine.
How does this compare to the Asus P6T7 WS INTEL X58 MOBO?

I only have a minor issue in that a Prolimatech Megahalems (with two fans) CPU cooler will cover the first DIMM slot and the fan clip will probably interfere with Corsair Dominator GT memory cooling fins in the second DIMM slot.
My hand has been hovering over the buy button for two days.![]()
You can overcome that issue by removing the upper part of the heatsink in the offending module(s), like this:I only have a minor issue in that a Prolimatech Megahalems (with two fans) CPU cooler will cover the first DIMM slot and the fan clip will probably interfere with Corsair Dominator GT memory cooling fins in the second DIMM slot.
