Most prejudice area in Britian?

From what I've seen living there I'd have said Glasgow.

Glaswegians are famed for being among the friendliest people in this country. Aberdonians however are a bunch of close minded, selfish gossips.
(Of course, I generalise massively)
I'm judging this from living in both places, with an accent from Norfolk.

However, I really don't think that one area can really be more prejudice than another. You could argue that people of the same mind will generally gravitate towards each other and therefore 'prejudicial' people will group together but it's a flawed argument.

There really isn't a problem with prejudice in this country, it's just easy for the Guardian and the Mail to hype up any problem and attribute it to this. People will always be intolerant of others for one reason or another. The best thing to do is challenge it in an appropriate manner or ignore it. An appropriate manner is not getting the two opposing factions to charge down each other.

I dont think EDl protests are a very good indication of how prejudiced a place is. They are mostly made up of football hooligans spoiling for trouble and they come from all around the country to these meetings.

As for the most prejudiced, Stoke is pretty bad I think and a BNP hotspot.

North Wales. If you have a English accent, usually around six nations time expect a lot of muttering and insults in welsh.

Try being an England fan in Glasgow. I wish mutterings and insults was all that I had to deal with. - Though a lot of the time I do have myself to blame, and rugby fans are fine.
I don't really know what my point is.

Wow, I can't half believe the crap she is coming out with!

I hadn't actually listened to it before but some of it does beggar belief, just to pick on the last couple of points - I've got no particular fondness for the way that halal meat is killed but to say that it is unlawful because it goes against animal rights is a falsehood - it is (unfortunately) perfectly legitimate way for animals to be killed at present in accordance with halal practice. Nazi as a word comes from the Arabic - well, it's taken from National Socialism (Nationalsozialismus) and is a contraction of that, just because there is another word the same in another language doesn't mean they have the same etymology.

Frequently repeating that something isn't racist doesn't necessarily make it so, it's the verbal equivalent of writing fact in capital letters. I don't know if the EDL are racist or not, bigoted might be closer to the mark I suppose if they just target Muslims but they've gone and made me Godwin the thread, damn them.
