Vapor x 5870 clock speed overdrive app

What's your OS, Sycho? I've got pretty much the same setup, with Windows 7 64 and cannot install the 10.3 driver. It simply states: 'fail', and device manager gives me a 'Driver is not intended for this platform' message.

Same monitor, two Sapphire Vapor-X OC 5870s in Crossfire. (have tried with just one in, which didn't work either)

I am using windows 7 64 bit too, i downloaded my driver from the official ATI site without issues and that was after removing my Nvidia drivers.Did you download it from there?

I only see one thing on the net with the problem which you have so it must be very rare, guess you can only re-install your OS to be 100% sure but just do not use Driver Cleaner or any stuff like that best to do yourself when installing/removing them.

Maybe you chaps can answer a question about these for me, i currently have a 5850 stock cooler although it vents air out the back there is still some that gets pumped into the case, is this the same with these as i want one to pump it all out the back specially with the summer coming.

These are worse for channelling air out in my opinion. I put a 140mm exhaust in the side panel when I was running these in crossfire. They still got too hot for me.

I have adjusted my hard drives so that I have a clear path for the central intake fan at the front to blow through onto the 5870s. Seems to do the trick in getting the air out the back.

Are you referring to your 5770's though ? as they don't really shift air out the back like 58** series.
