belkin router troubles

i have had my belkin N router for about a year from Overclockers and thursday night i had a mate round playing cod and the connection bar on cod came up as one bar??? its normally on 5 and the same with my pc so i restarted my router and nothing has changed still one bar i have turned it of overnight, checked for updates but nothing has helped there is only 20feet between the router-xbox/pc and nothing has changed in my house the router has not been moved??? i am so confused and peeved of it cost me about 150 quid?? i dont know what to do/try next??? going from 5/5 bar to 1/1 has really slowed down the internet so i cant play any games with out lag!

try changing which channel your using?

happned to me with a belkin G router. changed the channel (when new neighbours moved in) fixed it for me. guess we were both unlucky to choose the same channel.

changing the channel has done nothing...thanks for the help anyway
