Is Xbox Live Down Tonight? (Sunday April 4th)

I cant login to Xbox Live, and i'm trying to check the status of XBL but i cannot access XBL websites either.

Just wondered if anyone else was gaming tonight? its 20:45pm and i cannot logon

Yes, sometimes it says my MTU settings are incorrect and other times it says there's a problem with ICMP - although i have had the same settings for almost 5 years now without a hiccup :confused:

I can access most of the web but some sites like xbox.com or twitter.com just hang on 'loading'.

ok, so i disconnect all my PCs from my router and it reconnects to XBL no problem... ive reconnected all my PCs back to my router and its still fine.

WTF?

Odd problem, your router probably has short term memory loss, nothing to worry about

well my connection to XBL lasted for all of 5, maybe 10 minutes then dropped again and now im getting MTU errors once more... i've tried lowering my MTU to no avail.

I've unplugged it from the wall (360) and i'm going to leave it until tomorrow night, hopefully my ISP techs will be working....

its bloody annoying because i'm getting some of the fasted speeds on broadband testers ever.
