What on earth happened?!? I've been waiting over a year for that and it was absolutely dire, did they just sack all the writers and hire a few monkeys or something?

:(

Awful from start to finish.

I was hoping this would be the start of a new series, not any more.

Aye, that was poor. I'm a big fan of Jonathon's Crack and this really paled in comparison to some of the older strories. It was fairly boring even after the sense of deja vu during the first 5 minutes. The explanation wasn't the usual climax either and felt rushed. The idiot Northern ex Hollyoaks or whatever lass was just annoying.

Can't believe I relegated Wonders of the Solar System to iPlayer for it.

I thought it was OK (hey damned by faint praise :) ). It was by no means the best ever episode but I don't think it was the worst and it was still an moderately entertaining 90 minutes.

Like others I am still not convince my Ms Smith and I would prefer Maddie back and it was nice to see Klaus back again.

There will never be a better busybody than Maddie. I think I preferred Adam getting in trouble with the ladies over the racist stuff as well.

Yeah the Adam side plot was basically ****, and I thought the girl suddenly being able to fit into pots and take all those swords was going to be some sort of joke at first, like she wasn't actually in there...but no apparently not.

I felt pretty smug when right at the start i said that old man was killed by gas in the watch and my whole family were like don't be silly :D

The ending did feel very rushed, also surely they'd of done DNA tests on the dead girls body which would have told them that the dead body wasn't that of his wife.

Decent episode I though. OK there were some plot holes. Like Paul McGann. :D WHY?!

And the handwritten death threats? They weren't explained were they? How did they fake them?

While there will usually be an autopsy after a sudden death there won't always be genetic testing as far as I'm aware - they'd have had no real reason to presume that there was any doubt about the identity of the victim since the partner was there and had identified her.

However I only watched the last twenty minutes or so and I may be wrong on that - from what I saw it didn't seem like a particularly great episode but I'm prepared to believe it would have been a bit better if I'd watched it properly.

Yeah wasn't good, why did they let the killers off at the end, what was that about. I thought it was ok till the end, then that wrecked it.

There would be no DNA tests, all you need is someone to identify the body.

wasn't that good really
seen a few continuity errors
cat was thrown down on the table, not jump up and a guy had a book and cup of tea in hand but turned round and only had the book lol
as said not like the older stuff
