The external tank has been jettisoned.

EDIT:

Discovery is now on zero thrust and travelling at 17,606mph.

Good launch, always feel in awe when I see it go up. Love seeing, what I assume is plasma on the shuttle as it jettisoned the external tank.

I was seriously thinking about applying to the ESA astronaut program, what with being a pilot and all but I don't think I'd have a high chance! Maybe one day there will be commercial astronauts (and I mean REAL astronauts, not this Virgin stuff of going 100km up and 4 mins of 0G, I mean orbit!!)
