Should these be working straight out of the box?

I've just put the CD in that came with it but it only has documentation.

Windows update downloaded something for the Monitor when I first used it and it was around 11kb in file size but so far the USB ports just don't do anything when being used.

Device Manager shows everything is working.

Edit: there is a driver on the CD however it is already installed from Windows update.

You need to connect your monitor to your PC via the supplied USB cable first, else it will not work - I presume you haven't

Oh I've connected the mains (obviously) and a DVi lead from the Monitor to Graphics card.

Thanks, least I know it isn't faulty!

edit: Found the cable and installed now. Cheers
