Make cloth speakers cover from grey to black

Hay all.

What be the best option to do this i was thinking of getting some black dye ?

The speakers i got are.

Never liked the grey but i got them for free.

Don't use the covers and shout at anybody who tries to touch them?

ive done a few speaker covers in the past and it's quite easy.

just take the old cover off...i think most are just glued.

pop down your hi fi shop or look on-line for some speaker cloth in black.

you will get a better finish in the end.

Shamrock i do need to keep the covers as got little kids around some times and my son will be mobile soon lol

Even with covers, it's no gaurantee. Little kids running around = broken expensive equipment. No two ways about it.

True but i do like the covers but really need them in black to match rest on my stuff for when we move and have more space

It's not just kids! I took my covers off for the first time a while back because I thought it looked better. First mate to come round starts to poke at the tweeter, resulting in me screaming at him.

I don't know what it is about speaker cones etc, people just want to poke them.
