Does anybody have a full size/or similar snooker table in their home?

I have a coin operated pool table in a barn somewhere on the farm I live on. It's currently in two pieces, I'm sure you can imagine what size it is, not sure how much was paid (possibly given) and when it was setup, we used to play it very often. :)

EDIT: IDIOT.

However, one of my friends has a snooker table. It was left in his house by the previous owner, it's not played particularly often, full size and I'm sure I could get you a picture if you'd like.

Cheers naffa, I'm not too fussed for pics. I'm just looking around for my brother. He wants to convert his cellar (a fairly lagre one I'll add!) to an entertainment room. His plans are to have a snooker table, poker table and a few other things to entertain! :)

there not that expensive to buy . and can be had for reasonable price make sure been recovered if you buy one .

daft as it sounds bay can be good place for a table or sometimes local comps at big events.

a grand get you a reasonable decent one or 500 quid a knock about thing . depends on how often you wanna play on it and what you trying to achieve to what id spend on it.

simple is this 500 minga :D
1000 decent :)
1500-2000 sweet

Besides the size / height, what is the difference between a snooker table and a pool table?

Everything changes when you change the size. Balls are smaller so react differently, cushions are thinner so bounce differently, cloths are generally speaking very different with snooker tables having nap and pool having speed cloths. Pool and Snooker are 2 very different games.

Can't remember how much my Father paid for it. Think it was around £4000 ish. Can't swear to that though. Long time ago. No longer have the table. Used to play nearly every day on it. Was a full sized table. No pics.
:)

A mate of mine has a crappy halfsized one, paid about £250 for it, it's awful.
You can never get it level, dips in the table and all sorts. It's in his summerhouse though which is like the drinking room so we're usually ****faced when we play.
