Would you choose to never eat/drink again?

Would you take a pill that mean you didn't need to have sex to procreate?

It's the same thing really - both sex and eating/drinking are long drawn out processes to reach an eventual goal, but both are enjoyable and I wouldn't want to miss out on the whole process.

Obviously some people are artificially inseminated though.

another thing to bear in mind is how many jobs would be lost because of it, supermarkets wouldn't need to stock as much food etc, so they wouldn't need to be as big, wouldn't need as many staff, same with any company that makes food, cookware/anything remotely linked to eating

In this scenario can you still have sex for reasons other than procreation? If so the downside would appear to be fairly minimal on the face of it.

I'd certainly consider taking a pill that meant I didn't have to eat or drink ever again, it's not that I don't enjoy both a lot of the time but it appeals as more convenient not to have to consider it.

I would if I could still drink something at least.

Sometimes I think why on earth do we have to eat so much and so often, I'd be very happy if we could eat only once every few days :)

Lol, I've never found eating to be "a pain in the neck"! so no, I wouldn't take the pill.

Why does everything have to have some negative attached as well? i would take a pill like that but i don't see why it should affect my enjoyment of flavours.

I think the positives of not having to eat outweigh most of the negatives though, even the lack of enjoyment from food, there's other stuff about.
