i been looking everywhere and i cant find evga 260 F-T-W edtion, i was thinking of getting them in the states but i dont want to be charge custom at the airport, just wish i knew another solution or advice

why?

If you really want to buy a GTX260 now - either buy the cheapest you can find and overclock it - pretty much all of them will do *** clocks easy and the few models left have better cooling - or if you seriously want an overclocked model try and find the gigabyte 260 SoC (Super Overclocked) as this card is really cherry picked/does clocks the other cards can't manage.

I'm kinda stumped why you want to do this as well. I agree that the GTX 260 is still a good card, but for the price of the f tw edition you could get a 5850 which is much more powerful and supports DX11.

As for going with EVGA, I love that company - their warrant rocks. However, if you buy in the US then you have to RMA to the US. This is blooming expensive and pretty much negates the price saving you make buying it there and imho the benefit of their excellent warranty as a whole.

okay call me a bit weird but i just matchin it with my motherboard for brands, but i will do a research on gigabyte and see what i come up with, what do you think about xfx black edition???

Pretty much same story - almost all GTX260 will do upto around 729/1458 core/shader clocks - even the poor ones should manage 680/1402 fine. The gigabyte SoC is the only exception - with 680/1500 out the box and generally manage between 729/1550 and 760/1610 or so.

Lol, I used to be a similar way.

Then they released a mobile GPU that failed in record numbers and recently a new graphics driver than enjoys cooking graphics cards.

In comparison, ATI have been on a bit of a roll recently - that's certainly where I would invest my money if I were needing a new GPU at the moment.

okay cmndr_andi i understand i were you are coming from maybe my loyal need to be review once in a while....i am back on my research on card, i guess i will wait for a price to drop, to buy since the 480 on the market..

I was lucky to borrow my mates system while he was away and damn i am liking the graphic card might do some research on that too
