You pay £60 to apple to join up. But if you're running a Beta OS and your subscription expires, you're phone will be bricked. So be warned.

This is what I'd like to know.![]()
It's not true multitasking.
Need to be realistic here tbh...
And what i said about the JB isn't about performance and what not. Its the fact that its been done a long long time ago when it should have been there from the start. Apple could have done it before and built the phone around that to support it.
But now with its already bad battery life, they add multi-tasking. Certainly not a bad thing and im not complaining that its coming, just odd that everyone is going nuts when its been there for near the beginning.
It is well implemented. Of course Apple will make a big deal of it but at the end of the day, they're showing nothing new. It's not multitasking, but Task Switching.Did the JB multi-tasking drain the battery and performance? Or was it as well implemented as we're led to believe Apple have done it here?
TrueNew for us users that don't JB![]()
I'm guessing the app will only have the core parts left running that it requires and not the whole app, probably using very little resources.
As you know apple don;t do things until they can do them right.
Ahh, so it isn't really true multi-tasking. Dang.![]()
Well it is, technically, but they are only allowing it for specific features. The idea being that it maximizes battery.
