My mate managed to save a fully working motherboard from going strap from his work place. Problem is this isn’t a standard motherboard, I think it originally came from a server machine. My mate would like to use this at home but is unable to find a case which this motherboard would fit in. Can any suggest a case? Below is what the motherboard looks like.

As you can see the expansion slots are on the right side of the motherboard instead of the left.

Isn't that a BTX motherboard?
Search around for the Coolermaster Stacker 830, that supports BTX.

Perhaps you could figure out what HP it is from by checking out the Part number or serial number on the motherboard?

I will check and see if I can find it. Thanks for your help people and you Orcvader. I didnt know what BTX was and now I found a case for it. Abit pricey but never mind

As above, lots of dell machines have a BTX layout, so you could use that, but they're horrible cases.

Board looks pretty low-end and probably not that great. Also, the connector placements are awful, won't be a lot of fun trying to get some half decent cable management and airflow. I'd sell or bin tbh, but depends on what you're using it for.

Not only that, but if it was a server board - then good luck with getting a decent priced processor for it...
