I bought the original MB for £5 around Christmas, played it for 16 hours then suddenly got bored. Played the Warband beta for quite a while, then suddenly got bored as well.

Not sure why, this game can't hold my attention like others can.

Hehe, I think somethings wrong with you :P

Try turning the difficulty up and turning save without exit off when you create a char. Makes it way more exciting as you don't just win all the time.
 
Anyone got any tips for the original? I started, roamed to a few villages and that, did a quest where I had to train the villagers and fight off an assaut, and I just get mauled in seconds even on the very lowest difficulty. Fighting on horseback is rock hard and can barely hit people with my sword and fighting on foot just means I get insta-overwhelmed by 400 guys.
 
you can download the original for free and play it up to lv7 without a keycode

multiplayer is awesome, was in the beta for quite a big chunk of it and have been playing it in release, there are no problems with immature kids running about etc and 64 player battles/sieges are amazing :)

Hrm I seem to have got to the point where I can slash the hell out of a way outnumbered situation... Swadian Knights are great too. Took my first castle last night! :D
