On Steam? How did you manage? Just getting localization.txt error all the time.

This is what I'm getting and I can't get these extra files downloaded as it doesn't seem to be searching for any updates (auto update is on).

Same here, I'm at 92% and now it gives that error.
What an epic fail this is turning out to be.

I get teh same... I read something about verifying the localization files, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. A bit of a shame, as all I'm wanting to do is see what it looks like on the PC compared to the 360... but I'm just gonna pass and move onto something else in a minute... it just reminds me why I went to the 360 for some of my gaming requirements (plug and play... no, really)

Localization error here too, changing language to russian makes no difference either.

EDIT: Deleted it, changed language to russian and now its over 11GB, oh well will d/l that and see what happens.

the games bust for me too

first i got the Localization.txt error so i downloaded it 'elsewhere' that got me past that error then i got this...

ERROR: Could not find zone 'code_pre_gfx_mp.ff'

i looked for a zone file or folder as instructed by someone off the steam forums but i dont have one

so im stuck at the zone error

I've given up! All I wanted to do was to download and play. There shouldn't be any of this mucking about trying to get extra updates after it's spent hours doing the "pre-load". Back to BF:BC2 for me but I'm not complaining

Same here, first pre load 4gb then the error and now i gotta download 11gb again, wtf is this s..t!!!!! Checked steam forums and everyone has the same problem.

It downloaded and then updated without any real problems, but as for the game it just seems to wind me up.

5 mins of arcade action was enough to convince me it's not my type of game.

No errors, installed first time and joined the game immediately.

You lot must be doing something wrong.

Clearly. I think clicking "Install game..." is where I started to go wrong.
