How do you take nice photos?

I have a cybershot 7.2 mp camera but i cant take decent photos.

When i get a bit back then i cant see mto capture any detial and when i zoom in or get close it becomes blurry.

An example is in the case section where some people post really nice close up pics or their pcs/parts

How do i take photos like that?

Sounds like you are getting too close and the camera is unable to focus. Tried turning on macro mode?

yeah, I think macro mode is what you want.. but will be better on some cameras than others.

A decent camera helps as does practice, practice, practice.

This really, I find it takes time to
A)get used to the camera
B)get used to taking photographs in a manner which is pleasing to you.

The great thing about digital photography is you can do both of these to your hearts content!

Id consider myself a keen amatuer for about 3 or 4 years and still when I put the memory card in the machine there are still a load of cack ones in there.

put the ISO to the LOWEST setting if you have good light.

most people think higher is better but its not, dont use auto for iso either high iso is only needed if its dark

I'm no expert, but have been doing a bit of reading, had a little fiddling with aperture and exposure etc last summer, and plan to try again this summer, but the main thing that has helped me get photos that look good and are framed well is the rule of thirds.

make sure you are shooting at the highest resolution the camera is capable of
