Mazda 3 MPS (07-09)

I have the mk2 MPS because i didnt want to pay 400 quid tax. 200 is all i pay which is a nice number. the MPS is a very tuneable car contrary to what people say, a few bolt ons take you to 300 and a remap takes you well over 300, you just have to know where to look. granted, there isnt as many tuners as those common cars ( ford, vw, vauxhall etc ), but thats the price you pay for exclusivity. and whats all this nonsense about too much power, torque steer, etc. grow a set of balls and learn to handle the car for what it is. drive the car and dont let the car drive you. all i hear is utter drivel coming from people who dont have a clue about these cars.

ps stoddie loves susan boyle

I had a Mazda 3 Sport (not MPS) and it was a nice car and everything but now I have a focus now which handles a lot better than my mazda ever did. You get a lot of nice toys like Bose and climate control thrown in the Mazda and I dont think it looked cheap or anything, my Focus ST has less toys than my bog standard Mazda 3 had!

I love that mps stoddie looks awesome. If I had a choice I would take a mps over the ST. Not anywhere near fife are you to blag a look seeing as you mentioned falkland ;)

i was about to comment on how surprised i was to see a FMIC and downpipe available for the MPS.. till i googled cobb and found it was an american company.

Interesting that there appears to be more of a tuning scene for them over there compared with the UK

yup its a great hot hatch, especially when the likes of the Focus ST, Golf GTI, Vx whatever isnt around to contend with it.
