Anything better for £500???

stulids it getting my vote. i cant come up with anything better. Definitely a 5770 tho rather than a 5750. If youre not even that fussed on DX11, look at a 4890 from last generation. More bang per buck on current games, altho lacking the DX11 support for the future. Sadly tho OCUK dont stock them anymore

Saphire and XFX are both quality brands. I have an XFX and i can't fault their customer service with an issue i had. Not had a sapphire so cant comment, but XFX +1

it doesn't need to put out 450W all day long, that's not the requirement is it.

nobody wants a psu they have to replace the minute they add -anything- into their system. you want a bit of headroom.

If you bothered to look at the peak power draw in the link I provided, you would see there will be plenty of headroom for future use.

Its not a GTX480 that's been spec'ed.

can you play crysis then?

why is everything dependant on crysis benchmarks. yer ok if youre gonna play it, then performance is going to mean everything. But if youre not then, crysis benches are just maximum strain. I have a 4890, i dont play crysis, but everything i do play is chewed up and spat out at decent fps. If you want to play crysis then ok, but if you want to minimise expenditure, then consider non-crysis destroying hardware tbh

i dont play crysis, but ive been playing Bad Company 2 online and it can handle the top settings with no problems at all. they frames per second never slows down

ohh that sounds good.
Where did you get the parts from? because i know it's not from overclockers
