Anybody in London on the 17th?

It's not an attempt to take away the voter's freedom of choice. It's merely an attempt to show them how wrong voting for the BNP would be, and that they are actually hiding beneath a mask, and underneath that mask is the same sort of nazi attitude that started the second world war. What they do with this information is up to them, but the overall aim is to eliminate the need for extremist parties such as this, not to eliminate their right to exist.

Many people who vote BNP do so without proper education about them or their views, or what effects they would have. The campaign aims to provide this education.
So "CRUSH THE BNP" and other such statements on UAF posters and flyers all over Manchester are just education? And the friction most recently in Bolton, and Manchester prior to that, was entirely about education? Give me a break. 90%+ of the arrests were trouble making UAF people. Militant lefties causing trouble as someone is rocking the boat (which I concede is an unwelcomed rocking). Also, what's more, from UAF about this very event "We will be canvassing and leafleting wards to spread the word about how to stop the BNP." Stop the BNP - not eduate people about them, but to STOP them.

People who vote Labour, and will vote Labor in a month, do so without proper education about them or their views, or what effects they would have and HAVE had. Similar tidbits could be said about any political party. I suspect 80%+ of voters don't have a ****** clue about the parties. Why not challenge them? And provide a general education? All politicians hide behind masks, noticeably Obama most recently. Some would say Cameron is hiding his true old Tory beliefs.

Which is why the popular vote is ****.

Anyway, this aside, hypothetically what if the BNP policies are what the majority of this country want?

EDIT - Also, "Nazi BNP" - do people not read books anymore? The BNP's economic, military and territorial policies are anything but Nationalsozialismus. Nazism is not a synonym of racism.

Even then, HOPE not hate is not UAF. They're a completely different organisation. Don't tar them all with one brush. I'd say they're concentrating on the BNP because their views are the most extremist and would do the most damage if forced on the country.

As for your last question, then i'm bloody well moving out of the country.

EDIT - Does apartheid ring a bell? Books have little to do with it, but the BNP's views can easily be compared with the ethnic cleansing and superiority complex held by Nazi parties of the past.

People support BNP because of their stance on immigration, have Labour shown any interest in tightening up the immigration policy?
No, because they do not see enough people to be making it a big enough issue.
If BNP win then it wills how that it IS a big enough issue, so the major parties will have to tighten their policies

Perhpas because there isn't really that much of a problem with immigration. Immigrants are fairly useful to the economy from French bankers to polish builders to cleaners from various 3rd world countries.

Its just that working class white people with low education/skills believe there is a problem with immigration. Personally I'd rather deport some of our home grown chav scum and switch them for some hard working Polish/Indian workers.

Indeed, and their 'Britain for the British' attitude is just absurd. We all speak a variation of Latin, and are mostly descended from Romans or any other countless country that has invaded us in the past. To be honest, the borders that define the countries we live in are little more than the relics of an ancient flag planting ritual that was outdated with the ending of the second world war, never mind the start of the 21st century. The idea that there's a 'master race' is just plain stupid, considering how multicultural we all are, if we like it or not. Why should people born into a country ruled by an evil dictator be forced to stay there just because some ejit can't do a job well enough and decides to blame it on somebody else.

The issue, for me at least, is not about the fact that they are foreign, but about the fact that many migrants are not assimilating into our society fully, are trying to force some of their values and so on on us and so on

But that's how a society grows, by taking on and learning from the values and ideals of others. There is no 'standard British model', what you see around you is just the latest of an endless line of these adaptations. Evolution.

We don't and we aren't (as far as Romans go at least). If you are talking about educating people I would try not to make uneducated statements such as the above.

As long as 'Roman' means 'a citizen of the Roman Empire' then it's highly doubtful that anybody in Europe could trace their family tree back and not find it.

Dagenham is a ****hole it could probably do with a few BNP people clearing it up. Its a bit like the Congo now, my area will be next. They seem to propagate along the District Line.

A few pictures from BB's Facebook page if you're interested...

I always chuckle at the UAF, they are just as fascist as those they purport to oppose by way of trying to stifle free speech.

Anyway - if people want to vote for the BNP, that's their right, no matter how misguided it may seem. It's called democracy. I must say I find it disgusting when politicians will refuse to work with or talk to someone from any political party who has been democratically elected into office. :)

How about you read the thread? It's not the UAF, it's HOPE not hate.
