Default Crysis black screen on startup

Thought I'd see what Crysis looks like on my new 5850. Im running 10.3b drivers and when I launch the game all I get is a black screen. When I ctrl+alt+delete Windows 7 gives me "this program has stopped responding" window.

I have installed patch 1.2 for Crysis aswell. Any ideas guys?

Try 32bit mode, i know there was people having problems to get 64bit working.

Tried compatibilty mode, and 32bit still the same

Works in 32bit mode now, had to leave it for 30secs then the black screen goes

now uve got it working.. are you holding 60 fps with everything maxed out? mine comes down somtimes :/

If it happens again, try setting your display properties to Vista basic mode.

With everything maxed im getting 40fps, if I set everything to high I get 60fps
