Save petrol device... vortex of justice!!

Seriously though wouldn't creating a vortex (that's if it indeed does) in the inlet manifold be a bit like supercharging the air going into the engine?

Wut?

Anyway, someone needs to buy these things and try them. Howard seems up for it - let us know how the magnet goes and then try the shiny thing :D

I was trying to talk sense into somebody at work after he bought one of those magnet things, surely if they actually work why didn't the manufacturer fit them as standard? Same goes for all of these con artist inventions, and the way the guy at work justified buying one... Well they were £50 (yes £50!) each but as the stand was closing up for the weekend I managed to get 2 for £60!...bargain! :p

Surely testing these things is a peice of cake....brim tank, do a decent mixed run, brim tank again and calculate mpg. Fit magnet, rinse and repeat - proof either way

There's an even easier test: hold a big magnet very close over a bucket of petrol. Watch as absolutely nothing happens.

I like the way it says:
  • Insurance is available upon request
  • INSURANCE IS NOW FREE AND INCLUDED IN THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEE!!
and then says:

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED ITEMS RESULTING CAUSE BY SHIPPING IF NO INSURANCE IS PURCHASED, NO NEED TO ARGUE.

and what the hell does it mean saying:

Some assembly required

I'm disappointed with the last quote as it implies that this technology is not advanced enough that leaving said item in my coat pocket or glove box does not result in the same economy gains.

FAIL

I think you will find that you could leave it at Kings Cross station and still get the same economy gains.
