I hope I got the 1680x1200 res right? You can get those res right haha?

I am on 1920x1200, but i'm thinking of going to a smaller res to benefit for higher fps. Would I see a big increase in FPS at 1680x1200? Or Wouldn't it be worth down-grading? Any help is much appreciated! :D

I would always use the natural res tbh. Higher the better. :)

If your having FPS issues a hardware upgrade is in order.

Ok, thats a good point, think I might stick with my 24, I just orderd a 5870 Vapor-X so that should be fine with my res? Thing is, i'm not to botherd about the res tbh, I'd prefer to get more fps in games if you know what I mean. Or am I thinking about to losely? :P

Lower rez you will get more fps, but higher rez looks better.. I game same rez as you 1920x1200 on a 24" and with a 5870 Vapor-X you wont need to lower rez.

The fps difference between those 2 resolutions for that card will be minimal, for majority games you only looking at like 10fps more and besides at 1920x1200 resolution a vapor-x 5870 can handle any game.
