Adobe Photoshop Extended

I have been looking at the above software to buy for my daughter who is at uni but was wondering to what extent it can edit images compared to CS4.

I cannot find anything on the Adobe website regarding it's image editing features so perhaps someone here can help.

Well, I had a (very) brief look and spotted this

Discover new dimensions in digital imaging

Adobe® Photoshop® CS4 Extended software delivers all the features in Photoshop CS4, plus new features for working with 3D imagery, motion-based content, and advanced image analysis.

So I would assume it does the same as CS4.

Yeah, Extended is only worth it if you have cash to splash.

Sorry, i forgot to say in my original posting that i was looking at the Student Licence version.

There's no point buying CS4 when CS5 will be out in a few months...

I know CS5 is out tomorrow, but student editions have a delay on the release

Student CS4 extended is about £150

Definitely wait for CS5 if you can, much improved.

I'm not really bothered about getting CS5 as CS4 will do what i need it for.

I would avoid cs4, and wait for cs5 or go to cs3. cs4 is nothing but trouble, buggy, the revisions are awful, throughly hate it.
