Hiya there OcUK and its forum browsers, well nvm lets cut to the chase.

Im new to this buti just ordered my G11 as i was browsing amazon for a new keyboard, foudn it on OcUK site and bought it, shud arrive on tuesday sometime :).

However, i was looking on amazon comparing prizes and i saw that on their images they have like a sort of wrist support, like a plastic thing that goes at the wrist end of the keyboard, i was wondering if anybody knows if you get this when you buy it from OcUK?

Cheers - Ash

P.S: If this is not in the correct location, sorry about that i couldn't see any over relevant place to post  anyhow, hopefully my question will be answered, thanks.

A gaming keyboard gives your computer an extra 3hp, ones with illuminated keys gives you 5hp so great choice. Lap times in racers drop by 3 seconds on average and in shooters you get an extra 0.75 KDR.

im typing on a g11 right now and tbh its cheap feeling. The keys are wobbly and really leight weight with a pretty meh action to them.

i only baught it cos the cherry one was out of stock . what kind of **** uses 18 x3 programmable keys ?? and need to turn off the sound on the video via a big dial..

the blue lighting is good i can see where the keys are sitting in the dark smoking a roll up... how cool is that?

yeah u get a wrist support its a 1mm thick bit of floppy plastic - its utter crap i wouldn't even bother.

Razor lycosa is the best keyboard i've used.

Love the half height short stroke keys :D

Has ****ed my typing on normal kb's though as i only half press the keys >.<

Thanks for calling me a **** :mad::p !

They are very handy for RTS games.
M1 are general hotkeys which I need temporarily ( I reprogram them often).

M2 are my ''C&C generals'' hotkeys.

G1-6 is create 9 of a unit for the GLA. ( Eg. G1 = 9xQuad cannon, G2= 9x Scorpion Tank, etc...)
G7-12= china
G13-18= usa

It's awesome not having to hit a hotkey 9 times or click 9 times to queue up 9 of a particular unit.

M3 is currently unused, but if I'll play any RTS a lot in the future I'm pretty sure I'll program them too.

I use my G-keys as MS Word shortcuts to do various useful things. Saves me a lot of hassle sometimes actually.

G11 is a good keyboard, though I agree it can feel a little cheap in places, and the key action may not be to everyones taste. Also, the inclusion of a super low power USB 1.1 (that's right, 1.1!) is totally pointless.

However, as a gaming keyboard it does the job brilliant, can take quite a bit of bashing I reckon and performs as you'd expect it to. As above, g-keys are useful, depends on what you want to do with them. They media buttons I also find useful, but they are a common feature now.

The macro keys are very handy with wow for example. I got so used to it that I couldnt play with any other keyboard.

I am tempted by a Razer Arctosa (silver) at the minute. No backlight I know, but at £30 and being £22 cheaper than the Lycosa.

Seem to be quite a few bad comments about the Lycosa on the net too.

I LOVE my G11 (don't use the wrist pad), but then I managed to get one brand new for £25 a few months back, so it is well worth what I spent.

you can bind every single key on the lycosa to a macro :d (well 10 different macros for 10 different programs :p)
