Honda Type R

Sounds painful.

I've spent the last few weeks trolling through add's for a new mtb and you would not believe the amount of spelling mistakes people make, it looks absolutely awful on an advertisement. I'm not the best speller in the world so I use a spell checker, twice over if I'm trying to sell something!!

I think people are getting a bit confused here.

Honda now sell a model called the Mugen 200, it's a bog standard type r with an lsd, much like the special edition white one they did. That's the car that the op will be talking about at 23k.

The limited mugen tuned one is the one with the big lairy wing and 240bhp, that's the 38k one.

Saying that I still rather like this shape Type R. Agree with people that it's not really what the type r should be, but still think it's a decent car.

Ah, makes sense. I was going to say, that's some depreciation if not!

I actually like the look of the current civic (shock horror) but would have a mint FD2 at that price. The Mugan RR at 31k on PH classifieds is a lovely thing!

31k buys you an E92 M3, though. Even someone who enjoys pleasuring a hatchback's various orifices should see that £30k is way out of the league of a hot hatch.

31k buys a brand new m3 with the same running costs as a hot hatch?

If not then an M3 is way out of league for someone looking at a 30k hot hatch :p

Who said anything about running costs? I'm just comparing base price; it's way out of its league.

If you want to be a stickler for the 'brand new' thing, then fine: it buys a 370z with delivery miles and leaves you with a fair bit of change to put towards insurance, fuel and road tax. Plus it'll leave it standing, both on the straights and in the bends.

I pooped, jizzed and dribbled... over this Mugen one:

Oh yum yum yum. *THIS* is the only civic worth buying.
