ok where is it?

i know in the past it has taken microsoft a very long time to port halo: ce and halo 2 to pc, but this time it seems like even longer.

although theres been no word on halo 3 for pc, you would think it will have to come out at some point, i mean you cant only release 2 games of a trilogy to a portion of your audience.

Just finished the second game the other day. Quite enjoyed it, a well made game, even if on paper it shouldn't grab me...but it does.. kinda. :) So yeah if it does happen, I'd be happy enough to give the third one a whirl.

I don't think it will happen. I mean 360 has had ODST, Halo Wars and soon to have Halo: Reach since Halo 3 was released...that seems like a long time to hold a port back.

I think Microsoft finally picked up on the PS3 crowd talking about how the 360 wasn't worth getting because all of its games "would be ported to the PC anyway". :p

I think you are right. I think that's what happend to Alan Wake:(

I think that game was over-rated TBH. Compared to the other FPS offerings on PC, I don't think H3 would hold up very well. The only appeal the series olds for me is the sci-fi aspect...

MS don't care enough about the PC platform to port it, and port it well (and make it look good too)
Besides do MS even have any PC platform gave devs left?

Yup, the Halo games imo compared to pc shooters were incredibly average to say the least. They just had a ton of marketing and hype behind them courtesy of MS needing a flagship title for its console.

Ok, I'm gonna be different- I absolutely loved halo 2 and halo 3. You say it is all just hype then why do they have so much replayability, I've had halo 3 since releasee and still occasssionally play to this day.

H3 still has a huge following worldwide and the competitive scene is still alive and kicking, for me the balancing and teamwork/ fun elements are just right!

Don't get me wrong Ive played my fair share of pc fps- bf2/bf2142/bc2, quake 2/3, cod4, cs etc.. But why does everyone have to become a pc/console fanboi and start bashing one another? I enjoy both!

Secretly already counting days to halo reach beta :o

Maybe so but there is no comparing halo to half life, half life was on a whole different level.

with out a second thought firing back i see.

i did not compare halo to half life, i simply said i dont like half life.
